DAY1

Arrival at Puy-en-Velay

Welcome to the Moto Ultreïa Via Podiensis road trip

Immerse yourself in an unforgettable motorcycle experience with the Ultreïa Via Podiensis road trip

This 7-day journey starts in Puy-en-Velay and takes you through the inspiring landscapes of the Via Podiensis, the famous route to Santiago de Compostela.

Our exclusive itinerary, designed to combine discovery, human adventure and perhaps spirituality, ends in St Jean-Pied-de-Port, leaving bikers the choice to continue their quest.

Traveling along the roads that the Via Podiensis takes, very lightly traveled and often degraded, our route offers you total immersion in the landscapes that have inspired generations of pilgrims.

DAY2

Le Puy-en-Velay / Saint-Côme-d’Olt - 180 km

Meetings and Conviviality

Beyond the kilometers traveled, the Ultreïa Via Podiensis is an invitation to discover the territories and to meet other traveling souls. From picturesque villages to discussions with fellow pilgrims, every moment is an opportunity to share, learn and build connections that transcend borders.

DAY3

Saint-Côme-d’Olt / Limogne-en-Quercy – 176 km

The Spirit of Ultreia Via Podiensis

The name “Ultreïa” embodies the idea of surpassing oneself. But on this motorcycle journey, this overcoming evokes a quiet elegance, the serenity of the landscapes and the depth of the human experience.
In accordance with the charter of Santiago de Compostela by motorbike produced by MAP - Moto Auvergne Plaisir and Relais Motards, your role as a motorcyclist on the Ultreïa Via Podiensis must be marked with respect and courtesy. You will slow down considerably as you pass other pilgrims, greeting them with a simplicity that honors their own journey. The discussions, smiles and meals shared with them will constitute the milestones of an experience where the motorcycle is a means of peaceful exploration.

DAY4

Limogne-en-Quercy / Manciet - 286 km

Calmly, you will cross the villages, lingering on the landscapes and places of visit with the kindness of a pilgrim in search of a deep connection with his environment. Long breaks will become special moments to exchange, learn and create lasting memories.
Come with us, not for a frantic race, but for an odyssey where every kilometer counts, not for speed, but for the value of each moment.

DAY5

Manciet / St-Jean-Pied-de-Port - 232 km

After Ultreïa Via Podiensis towards Santiago de Compostela

Ultreïa Via Podiensis gives you the freedom to choose your own adventure after St Jean-Pied-de-Port. Aware of the imperatives to obtain the Compostela, MAP - Moto Auvergne Plaisir deliberately decided to conclude this motorcycle trip in St Jean-Pied-de-Port. This will allow bikers to decide whether they wish to continue their quest on foot, on horseback or by bike to reach the required distances and obtain the precious certificate, the Compostela, thanks to the Crédencial.

DAY6

Loop in St-Jean-Pied-de-Port - 220 km

What is Compostela

La Compostela is a certificate issued to pilgrims who have completed the pilgrimage to the shrine of Santiago de Compostela in Spain. To obtain the Compostela, the pilgrim must have traveled at least the last 100 km on foot or on horseback, or the last 200 km by bike, towards Santiago de Compostela. It is also necessary to present a stamped Crédencial, attesting to the last steps carried out in this way.

Day7

St-Jean-Pied-de-Port

What is the Crédencial

The Crédencial, also called the pilgrim's notebook, is a personal document in which the pilgrim collects stamps at each stage of his journey to Santiago de Compostela. These stamps can be obtained at places such as churches, inns, tourist offices, and other significant locations along the way.

If you wish, MAP - Moto Auvergne Plaisir will assist you in collecting your Crédencial before leaving Puy en Velay. This pilgrim's notebook will be ready to be stamped throughout your motorcycle journey, allowing you to document your adventure in an authentic way.

MAP - Moto Auvergne Plaisir reserves the right to modify the itinerary without notice as provided in theCGV and CDV
Non-contractual program.
