If some roads around the world are famous for various reasons, national roads 6 and 7 are among them. Their history is intimately linked to departures and returns from holidays in the past, before the Paris - Marseille motorway was built.
It was only natural that restaurateurs set up shop at the time along these highways with often, hidden in the garage, the tools needed to help motorists in distress in the middle of the last century. Imagine! Nearly 1000km from Paris to Menton with the small Renault 4CV or the Citroën 2CV of the time!
Fortunately, the bistros, inns, and starred gourmet restaurants have survived and it is by the east of this axis, passing through the Regional Natural Parks of Vercors and then Chartreuse, that we offer you this little motorcycle road trip to to enjoy gourmet experiences in the Vallée de la Gastronomie - France® .
